Sanjeev Sanyal is an Indian economist, author and historian. He is a member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India, and has helped prepare six editions of the Economic Survey of India starting in 2017. Sanyal has written several books including The Indian Renaissance and Land of Seven Rivers.
